Shadow realm lamentations

This is a dark little poem I wrote about the shadow realm from Yami Bakura's POV.

For all of those fans of Yami Bakura out there!

Shadow realm

A shaded place
Of darkest night
A place of dispair
And misery all right
Yet in this place
A strange sort of calm
The kind of comfort I get
from darkness and harm

A place of sorrow
And shed tears
A place of untold fear
This darkness holds
Filled with screams
And millions of terrors
That invade your dreams

Shadow realm fiends
Creep in the dark
They make you squirm
And this is their art
Darkness lies at their core
Evil beating in their hearts

Innocent souls sent there too
Dark ones are punished , it's true
Both so unalike, in this place
Hatred and malice in their face
There is a darkness
That holds you
And where the Yami's dwell
They would welcome you

Come take me home
Oh darkness please
And give my pain
Unshattered release
In my soul I am a dark one
And I know not of light
Shadow realm at my core
Missing Yami's call my name

I hear their cries
And I want to roam
Something keeps me here alone
Maybe one day
I will have the opportunity to make
That final step to take
That one step closer
To bring the darkness, where I belong

To know the darkness so well
And to be at home once again
In that place of shadows
Away from the crowd
Hidden in the shadows
So I can feel whole again
